“To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” - Walt Disney

25 Days - 18

Day 18

Christmas in Paradise

The seaside is a great place to spend the holidays.  So it's only appropriate the Paradise Pier should have some decorations for the season. As in past years the pier and surrounding areas have a festive feel about them.

Come meet Duffy in front of a snowy scene.

In the gazebo next to the tree you can meet Mickey, Santa, or in this case Donald. Photo opportunity available.
Want to go for a ride under the sea with Ariel?
The facade of The Little Mermaid ride is covered with wave themed garlands.

Garlands shaped liked sea waves.

Stop for a bite to eat at Boardwalk Pizza or Paradise Garden Grill while you enjoy the cool, crisp winter weather. When eating lunch don't let the nearby screaming scare you away. Those are cries of excitement from next door at Goofy's Sky School and the new pilots in training.

Silver & Gold trimmed wreaths hang out front of Paradise Garden Grill.

Be sure to come back later in the evening for World of Color.
I'll post more on that in the future.
